Santa Crafts

Add a festive touch to your home and make creative Santa crafts this holiday season! Below are three ideas for jolly holiday crafts featuring the famous Mr. Claus. Invite the kids to be a part of the Santa Claus crafts, and enjoy some fun time together.

Ideas for Christmas Santa crafts include:

  • Santa Plate: Gather supplies for your Santa craft, which include a paper plate, beige paint, googly eyes, a black marker, red construction paper, and white cotton balls. Paint the paper plate with the beige paint. Once dry, add white cotton balls for Santa’s hair, mustache, and beard. Cut out a red triangle for Santa Claus’ hat, and glue a cotton ball to the end of it. As a final touch, add the googly eyes and use the black marker for the mouth.
  • Handprint Santa: Plan Santa crafts for kids with simple instructions. Trace the kids’ handprints on pieces of red construction paper. Cut out each handprint. Position the handprint so that it is upside down. Paint the four fingers with white paint to represent Santa’s beard. Paint beige paint above the beard, and add googly eyes and a pink nose above the beard, for Santa’s face. Above Santa’s face, paint a white line for the rest of his hair. Use the thumb for Santa’s hat. Add a white pom-pom ball to the end.
  • Santa’s Belly: Make an ornament of Santa’s belly for an easy Santa Claus craft. Use a simple red ornament to represent Santa’s belly. Glue a strip of black felt around the center. Cut a square out of white construction paper, and then another square in the middle to hollow it out. Glue the hollow square on the center of the black felt strip.
