This recipe for Peach-Riesling Sangria combines peach schnapps and riesling. If you're not familiar with reisling, it is one of the sweeter white wines. - 750-ml bottle dry or sweet Riesling
- 1 1/2 c. white cranberry-peach juice
- 1/2 c. peach schnapps
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 3 tbsp. fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
- lemon slices, sliced to 2 1/2 inch thickness
- orange slices, sliced to 2 1/2 inch thickness
- 2 peaches, cut into wedges
- 10 fresh raspberries
- 3 c. ice cubes
Mix Riesling, cranberry-peach juice, peach schnapps, sugar, and lemon juice in large pitcher. Next, carefully scrape the seeds from vanilla bean. Add the vanilla bean and stir to blend. Mix in the fruit. Cover and chill overnight, or for at least a few hours. Mix in ice, serve, and enjoy!
