3 Beer Cocktail Recipes To Try This Summer

Raspberry Beer Cocktail
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 4 bottles of chilled beer; we recommend something on the lighter side
- 1 c. fresh or frozen raspberries
- 1 container frozen raspberry lemonade concentrate, thawed
- ½ c. vodka
- Lemon slices and fresh raspberries for garnish
In a large pitcher, stir together the raspberries, beer, frozen lemonade concentrate, and vodka. Stir well to combine and pour over ice. Garnish if desired with lemon slices and even more raspberries!
The Beer’s Knees
Ingredients (single serving recipe)
- 1.5 oz. gin
- 1 oz. fresh lemon juice
- 1 oz. honey syrup (1 part honey, 1 party water)
- 3 oz. hefeweizen-style beer
- 1 lemon wedge as garnish
This twist on the classic “Bee’s Knees” cocktail is sure to delight your guests. Combine gin, lemon juice, and honey syrup in an ice-filled shaker. Shake well, strain into a glass, and top with beer and a lemon slice. Serve straight up or on the rocks!
Summer Lemon Shandy
Ingredients (serves 8)
- ½ c. sugar
- ¾ c. fresh lemon juice (from about 4 lemons)
- 8 bottles of pilsner beer
- Extra lemon for garnish
In a small saucepan, combine sugar and ¾ c. water over medium heat. Cook, stirring often, until sugar dissolves (about 1 minute). Refrigerate until cool, at least 10 minutes. In a small pitcher, combine the sugar mixture and lemon juice. Pour 1 beer into a chilled glass and add ¼ c. of the lemon mixture. Garnish with lemon wedge if desired and enjoy!
