Plan a Pineapple-Themed Bachelorette Party

Host a fruit-tastic pineapple-themed bachelorette party.  Pineapples are colorful, tropical, and fun - it’s no wonder they are in style.  Pineapples are popular not only because they taste fruity and delicious, but because they provide a fun pop of color to any occasion. A pineapple-themed bachelorette party would make for a spirited and exciting party.

Here are some ideas for planning a pineapple-themed bachelorette party:

Pineapple Cake: Serve a light and fluffy pineapple cake or pineapple tart at your party. You can choose a classic upside down pineapple cake to serve, or you can get creative and serve a pineapple-infused cake with homemade pineapple frosting. Pineapple tarts served with cold vanilla ice cream and honey will also be a huge hit!

Pineapple-infused Yellow Cake

Ingredients:

• 1 box yellow cake mix
• 4 eggs
• ½ cup oil
• 2 cans crushed pineapple with juice
• 8 oz. whipped topping
• 1 small box instant vanilla pudding

Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Combine cake mix, eggs, oil, and one can of pineapple in a mixing bowl
3. Pour into a 9x13 pan and bake for 25-30 minutes
4. Mix whipped topping, vanilla pudding mix, and 1 can pineapple, and spread frosting over the cooled cake  

Fruity Decor: Being a fruit of the tropics, pineapple decorations will make your guests feel sunny, warm, and ready to have fun. Incorporate pineapples into your party decor with a do-it-yourself pineapple flower centerpiece. To make a pineapple centerpiece, first hollow out the inside of a pineapple (don’t forget to use the fruity inside as a party snack!). Next, fill the pineapple with 1 cup of water, and find a bouquet of tropical flowers, such as plumerias, to put into your new pineapple-vase.

Pineapple Bowling: Pineapple bowling is easy to set up, and will be fun for everyone! Get creative and use pineapples as bowling pins (or, as we like to call them, “pin-apples”). First, buy 10 pineapples and spray paint them a color of your choice, such as metallic silver. Next, use a heavy-weighted ball as your bowling ball. Play as teams or as individuals- either way, your guests will have a blast!
