Pack a Thanksgiving Punch

Still looking for the right drink to serve this Thanksgiving? You can't go wrong with Thanksgiving punch. Cranberry juice is an delicious, seasonal base for a Thanksgiving alcoholic punch. Don’t worry if there will be a lot of kids at your Thanksgiving celebration. Here are two Thanksgiving punch recipes (one for kids and one for adults) that are sure to please your guests.
Non-Alcoholic Thanksgiving Punch
Ingredients:
  •  2 bottles of chilled cranberry juice
  •  2 containers of lemonade or orange juice concentrate
  •  1 bottle of seltzer water or unsweetened citrus soda
Directions:
Combine all of the ingredients just before serving. As your concentrate melts, it'll simply add to the already tart flavor. If you're looking for an extra flavor boost, you might consider a cranberry juice blend. Some great flavor combinations are: cranberry apple, cranberry blueberry, and cranberry grape. As for the fizzy stuff, use flavored seltzer water in favor of sugary soda. Seltzer water is bubblier and lacks the high sugar content that soda has. The kids will get plenty of that at dessert anyway!
Cranberry Pomegranate Thanksgiving Punch
Ingredients:
  •  2 bottles of cranberry pomegranate juice
  •  1 container of orange juice concentrate
  •  1 bottle of flavored seltzer water
  •  Vodka, grain alcohol, or rum to taste
  •  Slices of fresh oranges, lemons, and limes to garnish
Directions:
To make, simply combine all ingredients together in a punchbowl and mix. For this recipe there is no specific measurement when it comes to how much alcohol to add to the Thanksgiving punch. This is because the best way to proceed when making a large quantity of an alcoholic beverage is to taste as you stir in small amounts of the alcohol. This way you can avoid knocking everyone out after the first sip!
Whether you serve one or both of these punch recipes this Thanksgiving, your guests will definitely be happy to sip tart cranberry combinations as they wait for the Turkey Day feast. Bottoms up!
