The Perfect Summer Drink: Beer Margaritas

Finally, a drink that will please both sexes at your summer party: beer magaritas! Whoever thought to add beer to a margarita probably had no idea it would turn out to be as good as it is. However, beer margaritas are delicious!

Beer margaritas are exactly what they sound like. They are basically your standard margarita with beer. They're a great addition to the drink menu at a cookout, summer party, or even a Cinco de Mayo celebration.

If you want to give beer margaritas a try for a special event, follow this beer margaritas recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz. tequilla
  • 12 oz. water
  • 12 oz. beer
  • 1 can (12 oz.) frozen limeade concentrate
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Directions:

Pour the tequilla, water, beer and limeade into a large pitcher. Stir until drink is well-blended and the limeade has melted. Add plenty of ice and garnish with lime wedges. If the beer margarita recipe seems too sweet, just add more water.

You can also easily turn this recipe into frozen beer margaritas by simply putting the mixture in the freezer for several hours. You'll end up with a slushy, frozen drink for your party that is similar to a frozen margarita.
