Summer Party Brazilian Drink
Spice up a summer party by serving a signature Brazilian drink called the Caipirinha. The Caipirinha drink is known as the national cocktail of Brazil and is appealing to most because of it's refreshing lime taste and local flavor. The classic Caipirinha Brazilian drink has become quite popular outside of Brazil as the alcohol needed to make it - Cachaça - has become more widely available throughout the world.
To make the Caipirinha drink recipe, you will need Cachaça (distilled alcohol made from sugar cane) which can be purchased at most liquor stores.
Recipe for Caipirinha:
- Cut one lime into eight wedges.
- Muddle (mash) four wedges of lime and two teaspoons of sugar in the bottom of a tumbler or glass. Use a wooden spoon for the best results.
- Fill the glass with crushed ice and add four ounces of Cachaça.
- Garnish with lime and make another drink with the remaining lime.
The Caipirinha cocktail recipe is as easy as that! It's the perfect addition to any summer party and adds international flair to your drink list. Lastly, to make your celebration a success, be sure to send out online summer party invitations that you can send right from your phone!
